Backflow Information

In the Village of Doylestown, backflow prevention and cross-connection control are essential to protect the public water supply. All properties with backflow prevention devices are required to have these devices tested annually by a certified backflow tester. Additionally, any property with a backflow prevention device must complete a cross-connection control survey at least once every three years. These measures help ensure that contaminants do not enter the public water system due to backflow. Property owners are responsible for compliance, and failure to meet these requirements may result in penalties or service interruption.
